Frank B. Williams, 82, ended his earthly journey on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. He was born, November 6, 1932, son of the late William Henry and Virginia Ross Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; John, Dan, Austin, Mercer, Ross, and Roy Williams as well as a sister, Virginia Banks.

Frank joined the Covesville First Baptist Church at an early age and remained an active member until his death. Frank was a 1952 graduate of Burley High School and he was always excited to see his former classmates and friends. Frank was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corp and following his discharge served in the Reserves. He was known for 'fried chicken' while working at Food of All Nations. Frank loved family and was always enthusiastic about participation in family activities.

He leaves to treasure his memory two daughters, Bobbinette Hughes and husband, Joseph and Berlinda Mills and husband, Jesse of Charlottesville; one brother, Francis Williams of Springdale, Maryland; six grandchildren, Megan Hughes Perry and husband, Jamon of Brooklyn, New York, Jonathan and Christian Hughes of Charlottesville; Jesse Mills II and wife, Thay of Ashburn, VA; Nanyell Ragland and husband, Chris; and Glenna Mills of Charlottesville; six great-grandchildren; and a loyal friend, Eddie Brown and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Covesville First Baptist Church, Henderson Lane, Covesville, VA, with the Reverend Joe Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The Family will received friends at the church one hour prior to the services.
